Denver Better Business Bureau-Do Their Ratings Amount to Anything?

Have you ever noticed that some people rely completely on the Denver Better Business Bureau and others take their rating system with a grain of salt? Is their rating system a farce or a scam? What should you do?

Colorado is a state that doesn't require state licensing. When searching for a legitimate roofing contractor it requires a bit more legwork on your part to insure you hire the best roofing contractor for your situation.

Using the BBB should be looked at as a resource.Of course the information you gather on a particular company can bring up red flags. Many Denver area roofing customers have relied solely on information put out by the Better Business Bureau and ended up getting burned because a contractor may have an A rating and is accredited by the BBB but really does not have an established track record.

Dan Cupit has industry insider information on the Denver Better Business Bureau rating system.
