Colorado Roofer Contractors-How Do you Know They Are Local?

There are over 800 Colorado Roofer Contractors listed throughout Colorado. It seems that whenever there is a damaging hail storm in Colorado there are another 800 that show up to get their share of the roofing money.

Many Denver area homeowners have been ripped off by many of these fly-by-night roofing companies. Some of these companies pick up a check then never show back up to do the work. What about the storm chasers that show up do the work and everything then seems fine? For Awhile.

When a storm chaser shows up there really is no way to tell if they are local. Is there?

Many of these out of town roofing companies will show up, buy an existing roof name and phone number, to make it look like they have been in the Denver roofing market for many years. So how can you tell if the people behind the company are who they say they are.

Dan Cupit of Professional Roofing and Exteriors has some great ideas that you can use to find out if a Roofer is actually from Colorado.

It really is important that you know if a roofer is local because if they are from out of town and you have a problem later on, you should be able to call the roof contractor that installed your roof, to take care of warranties and guarantees.
